Sometimes
my approach is like
that used by Thomas Edison
in his development of
the electric
light bulb. I try different
things, not because I
know they will work,
but because I don’t
know what will. The assumption
is that I if
I explore enough alternatives,
eventually, I will discover
one with the results
I seek. This can be a
frustrating and
disappointing approach,
but I don’t know
what else to do.
Admittedly,
I sometimes do become
discouraged and feel
like I am floundering
in desperation.
